The 11th annual Teen Driving Roadeo was held on April 27
at Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds in Dover.


The event, sponsored by the Tuscarawas County SAFE KIDS Coalition and open to all high schools in the county, will start at 8:30 a.m.

The roadeo consists of two different competitions - a written test and driving skills test. Prize money will total more than $2000 and awards. All students participating will receive a Teen Driving Roadeo T-shirt. Participation in the car maintenance station will enter the participants for the opportunity to win various door prizes including gas cards, oil changes, car washes, etc.

Each school may send up to six licensed students. First place school will be determined by adding the total points of the students participating from each school. The school with the highest points will win a school trophy.

Park Honda South & Parkway Nissan Lincoln Mercury will be providing mid-sized automobiles to be used in the competition. With additional support coming from the Tuscaraws County AAA and the Stark County Foundation.

Family and friends are encouraged to attend and support the students.
